THE INSPIRATION BEHIND THE STARTUP AND BUSINESS–

Coming from the small town of Jammu, she never had any experience in the marketing business. She used to work in a well-paid corporate company where she was the head of the digital marketing sector.

It was all her father’s ailment that drag her into the male dominating world of business. She turned out to Ayurveda for the treatment of her father. Miraculously her father’s diagnosis got cured of the ayurvedic medications. This is where her journey started from being a simple corporate office girl to the owner of a company worth approx 20 crores.

HARDSHIPS OF ENTERING A MALE DOMINATING SECTOR AND HOW SHE GOT TO LAUNCH HER PRODUCT DESPITE BEING REJECTED SEVERAL TIMES–

Having no experience in marketing, sales, and business she was all alone with her enthusiasm and pure intention to serve people.

After her father’s success story from Ayurveda. She got highly interested in Ayurveda and started to read books based on ayurvedic medications and also visited hakims and ayurvedic doctors.

She left a well-paid job in a lava company where she worked for about 4 years to start her startup with no experience and knowledge in business. “It was however a difficult choice for me,” says ridhima.

she regularly visited the chowks of Delhi to understand the proper composition of ayurvedic medicines. She tells that she has also even collaborated with many hakims and along with this used to make samples of her product by mixing ayurvedic herbs in proper composition.

She started to visit retailers, got rejected many times and  also invested sums of money, about 22 lakh, and even couldn’t retrieve them.

” Whenever I used to go the investors and retailers, they used to give me a look of rejection and minority as I was a woman. Without seeing the product they used to declare it as a failure.” Said ridhima Arora in an interview.

Despite getting lost and exhausted, she changed her perspective towards the business method. She turned out to the online platforms to promote her products.

After so many hardships and hindrance she finally launched her product from one of the renowned online platforms in January 2020.

For the review of her product, she started to visit the local market of Delhi and started giving samples to them. She even used to call the customers herself for feedback.

Her all mist of confusion and rejections got cleared when a girl called her and said her mother’s heart blockage was cured from the Heart tea.

( which helps the natural lowering of cholesterol). She was happy to know that her product is serving the purpose for which she initiated this business.

She was also covered by one of the big online promoting company. Day after then she got about 800 orders which were not less than a great achievement for her.

However, she was not that much equipped to fulfill all the orders but even though she sat down two nights and packed all the orders herself.

She opened her own company named Namhya Food Pvt LTD. then after,she had been regularly receiving orders as well as appreciation from every corner of India.

Coming from a nuclear family, her father Shekar Arora is a businessman, and her mother is a homemaker. She is the elder sister of which her younger sister is a lawyer by profession.

LIFE, EARLY EDUCATION, AND QUALIFICATIONS–

Ridhima Arora was born on 28 Dec 1991in Jammu. She did her schooling at JK public school, Jammu. She is an engineer in electronics and communication (2009-13) from Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, Jammu and Kashmir. She did her MBA from Great lake of the Institute of Management, Chennai in 2015.

She is also a nutritionist from ISSA and a professional yoga trainer and diet consultant.

She told she has noted that a lot of brands suggest a lot of products build immunity for the long term but no one talks about the daily diet we intake. She says this was the real motive of her company, to focus on the daily diet and routine of people.

Today Namhya Food Pvt LTD is expanding at a very fast rate. It is getting appreciation from every corner of India as well as abroad.  ln Countries like the US, Canada, and UAE, these products have been successfully launched and been widely used.
