Ankur warikoo: A writer an Entrepreneur and a content creator

Ankur Warikoo is a well-known Indian entrepreneur, author, and YouTuber, who has achieved great success in his career. He was born in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir, and raised in New Delhi. Ankur married his long-time girlfriend Ruchi Bhudhiraja whom he met on a bus while going to college.

Ankur started his career in 2004 as a consultant at a corporate training consultancy NIS Sparta, New Delhi. Later, he joined a management consulting firm Kearney in Chicago in May 2006, where he worked for a few years. After gaining experience, he joined an internet firm Accentium Web, Gurgaon, as one of the co-founders. In December 2010, Ankur joined Rocket Internet, headquartered in Berlin, as a venture partner, where he worked for more than a year. In March 2011, he started the real-time e-commerce platform Groupon, where he worked as Head, Groupon APAC Emerging Markets.

During his career, Ankur has achieved many accolades, including being appointed as one of the board members at the Indian School of Business, New Delhi in July 2014. Ankur was also part of the ISB’s Next Generation Leaders Board (NGLB) during his tenure. In July 2014, Ankur started working as an individual angel investor at various internet and technology companies.

In August 2015, Ankur started an e-commerce platform company, nearbuy.com in Gurgaon, Haryana. He worked as the CEO there, from 2015 to 2019, and as of January 2022, he is one of the board members of the company. Additionally, Ankur is also a digital educator and has been working as an educator and content creator since 2019. He has conducted various courses on entrepreneurship, career management, and personal growth.

Apart from this, Ankur is also an author and published his first book “Do Epic Shit” in 2021, which has been one of the top-selling books in India in 2021. Ankur’s contribution to the industry has made him a popular public speaker and social media influencer. He has around 1.28 million subscribers on YouTube, where he shares his experience and insights about entrepreneurship, personal growth, and career management.
