World-renowned Tantra scholar and expert in Coastal Demonology, TantraShiromani Dr. Vishwajit Vishwasi, was honored with the prestigious Post-Doctoral degree—”Doctor of Tantra Literature (D.T.Litt.)“.
Triple Honors for Global Excellence
In a grand ceremony held during the World Vedic Conference, Dr. Vishwasi was conferred with three major distinctions:
- Doctor of Tantra Literature (D.T.Litt.): A rare post-doctoral achievement.
- Gold Medal: For his unparalleled academic contribution.
- Antarashtriya Tantra-Vaigyanik Utkarsh Puraskar (International Tantra Techno-Scientific Excellence Award): Recognizing his efforts to merge ancient rituals with modern logic by inventing a new Tantra Device viz. TAPAS.
The honors were presented by Prof. Dr. Salinkarn Kulabrahman Kalasiribhadradwaj, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at Surindra Rajabhat University, Thailand. The University Selection Committee unanimously chose Dr. Vishwasi for his groundbreaking research on Coastal Demonology (the study of esoteric and tantric traditions prevalent in coastal regions) and his intensive study of rare ancient manuscripts.
Dr. Chakradhar Frend ‘Vednipun’, CEO of the University, remarked: “This degree is a rank far above a standard PhD and is awarded to only a select few scholars globally in their lifetime.
