Band-It 2025 Regional Rounds Spotlight India’s Next Generation of Performing Artists The regional rounds of Band-It 2025, India’s largest inter-school performing arts competition, concluded successfully across the country, bringing together thousands of young performers in a vibrant celebration of talent, creativity, and confidence. With enthusiastic participation from students and schools nationwide, the event reaffirmed the growing importance of performing arts in holistic education. Conducted across 11 major cities — Bangalore, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Madurai, Pune, Mumbai, Chennai, Nagpur, Noida, Hyderabad, and Udaipur — Band-It 2025 witnessed participation from over 400 schools and more than 5,000 student performers. Each regional round transformed into a high-energy showcase, reflecting the diversity and depth of India’s emerging student talent. The stages came alive with an impressive range of performances, including powerful vocal acts, technically accomplished instrumental showcases, energetic dance routines, and expressive speech and drama presentations. Beyond competition, the regional rounds encouraged teamwork, discipline, and artistic expression, offering students a professionally curated platform to build confidence and stage presence. A Platform Rooted in Legacy and Purpose Band-It is an initiative of Furtados School of Music (FSM), an institution with a legacy spanning over 160 years in India’s music and performing arts education landscape. Founded in 1865, Furtados has grown from a single heritage music store into a nationwide leader in music education, performance platforms, and digital learning solutions. Originally launched as a music competition, Band-It has evolved into a comprehensive inter-school performing arts festival, expanding to include Dance and Speech & Drama alongside vocal and instrumental music. This growth reflects FSM’s belief that every child deserves a stage to explore and express their creative potential. Strengthening Impact Through Global Schools Group Partnership The 2025 edition of Band-It marked a significant milestone with Global Schools Group (GSG) joining as the Official Partner. As one of the world’s leading education networks with over 60 schools across 11 countries, GSG’s involvement helped expand the reach and influence of the competition across India. Several GSG institutions, including Witty International, Glendale, and Global Indian International School (GIIS), also served as Venue Partners, providing state-of-the-art auditoriums and campuses. Their support ensured a high-quality experience for students, parents, and educators, reinforcing GSG’s commitment to holistic education that balances academics with arts and experiential learning. Visionary Leadership and Enduring Support The continued growth of Band-It is guided by the leadership of Dharini Upadhyaya and Tanuja Gomes, Co-CEOs and Co-Founders of Furtados School of Music. Their vision of integrating structured learning with meaningful performance opportunities has shaped Band-It into a nationally recognised platform for young performers. The initiative is further strengthened by the support of Anthony Gomes and Joseph Gomes, who carry forward the Furtados legacy and ensure the platform’s sustained growth, quality, and national reach. As Band-It 2025 moves closer to its Grand Finale, the regional rounds stand as a powerful testament to the confidence, creativity, and potential of India’s young performers. Band-It continues to celebrate not just artistic excellence, but the dreams and aspirations of the stars of tomorrow.

Hotel Management Software by Profit Labs

Simplify, Streamline, Succeed: Profit Labs Brings Game-Changing Hotel Software to India

Created by Hoteliers, for Hoteliers – A Solution That Finally Puts Your Needs First — Running a hotel is no small feat. Between managing bookings, juggling OTAs, and ensuring guest happiness, hoteliers often find themselves stretched thin. Profit Labs, India’s latest innovation in hospitality tech, is here to change that.

“We’ve walked in your shoes,” says Abhishek Agarwal, Co-founder of Profit Labs. “We’ve felt the frustration of clunky systems, confusing software, and endless commission cuts. That’s why we built Profit Labs – to give hoteliers a solution that actually works for them.”

Profit Labs combines a powerful Property Management System (PMS), an intuitive Point-of-Sale (POS) system, and a game-changing Channel Manager into one easy-to-use platform. The best part? It’s designed to work seamlessly on any device, so you can manage your hotel from anywhere – whether you’re at the front desk, at home, or on the go.

Why Hoteliers Love Profit Labs:

Profit Labs is designed to empower hoteliers with tools that improve efficiency while maintaining affordability.

“We’re not just another software company,” adds Abhishek Agarwal. “We’re your partner in simplifying hotel management so you can focus on what really matters – delighting your guests and growing your business.”

Profit Labs isn’t just about technology; it’s about empowering hoteliers to reclaim their time and their profits. Whether you’re running a cozy B&B or managing a bustling city hotel, this is the toolkit you’ve been waiting for.

Q&A with Abhishek Agarwal, Co-founder of Profit Labs

What made you create Profit Labs?

After spending years in the hospitality industry, I realized how complex and frustrating managing a hotel can be. Between juggling clunky software, dealing with OTA commission cuts, and struggling to maintain guest satisfaction, it felt like there was no solution built with hoteliers in mind. I wanted to change that. Profit Labs was born to simplify hotel management and truly empower hoteliers to focus on their passion—delighting their guests and growing their businesses.

What obstacles and challenges did you face during development, and how did you overcome them?

The biggest challenge was balancing simplicity with functionality. Hotel management involves so many moving parts, and integrating them into a single platform without overwhelming the user was a tough nut to crack. We invested a lot of time into understanding the pain points of hoteliers and tested every feature with real users.

Another challenge was ensuring compatibility across devices. Many hoteliers aren’t tied to a desk— they need tools they can use on the go. To solve this, we focused on creating a responsive, user-friendly interface that works seamlessly on any device, whether it’s a desktop, tablet, or smartphone.

What are the motivations and goals behind Profit Labs?

The motivation is simple—hoteliers deserve better. I wanted to create a tool that could help them save time, reduce errors, and maximize profitability without adding to their stress.

Our ultimate goal is to democratize hotel management technology. Whether you’re running a cozy family-run inn or a large city hotel, Profit Labs should feel like a solution tailored just for you.

What makes Profit Labs unique compared to other hotel management software?

Profit Labs stands out because it’s designed by hoteliers, for hoteliers. We’ve lived the challenges, so we know what works and what doesn’t. Three things make us unique:

  • Ease of use: You don’t need to be tech-savvy to use Profit It’s intuitive and simple.
  • All-in-one solution: We’ve integrated PMS, POS, and Channel Manager into a single platform to streamline operations.
  • Mobile approach: Manage your hotel anytime, anywhere—no tethering to a desk.

What kind of impact do you hope Profit Labs will have on the industry?

I hope Profit Labs will help hoteliers reclaim their time and profits. By automating mundane tasks and providing actionable insights, we want to free up hoteliers to focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences.

We also aim to level the playing field, especially for smaller, independent hotels, by giving them access to powerful tools that were once only available to large chains.

\"Hotel

What’s next for Profit Labs?

This is just the beginning. We’re constantly listening to feedback from hoteliers and refining our platform to meet their evolving needs. The future holds exciting possibilities—expanding integrations, adding more analytics tools, and even exploring AI-powered solutions to anticipate guest needs.

Our dream is to be the trusted partner for every hotel.
